Barracuda is a tool used by the IT team to provide email security. Users will receive email notifications of quarantined emails. Users can take action on these emails as instructed below. Blocked emails do not fall into the quarantined category. Blocked emails must still be reported via an IT ticket.
Have that message delivered to your primary inbox.
ALLOW LIST
Have that message delivered to your primary inbox and have that sender added to the Allow List.
BLOCK LIST
Add that sender to the Block List.
View Message Log
Selecting “View Message Log” will open a website that displays all your quarantined messages.
1. Search: Enter text to search for a specific email.
2. Date Presets: Adjust to search different email send dates.
3. Action Taken: Adjust to see different categories of emails. Types include Any, Allowed, Deferred, Quarantined.
4. Delivery Status: Adjust to filter based on delivery status. Types include Delivered, Not Delivered, Deferred, Rejected, Spooled.
5. Results: Adjust to include more emails in your message log list.
6. Reason: Adjust to see the reason for the delivery status. Types include Bulk Email, Body Content, etc.
Options via Message Log
1. To take action on an email or email sender, click the email.
2. Click the ellipsis (•••) option on the top of the opened email on the right pane
3. Select the needed action.
Download the message — Downloads the email to your selected folder.
Add Sender Email to Block List — Blocks future emails from that specific email address.

Add Sender Domain to Block List — Blocks future emails from any address in that domain.
