Users have three options to add further information on a quote/order in Zoho CRM.
A. Additional Info
This feature will allow you to enter text that will appear on the top of your quote when created. It is only to be used for the customers reference.
To utilize this feature:
1. While creating or editing a code, select Additional Info?.
2. Enter the needed text in the text box that appears.
When the PDF is exported or printed, the text will appear as shown below:
B. Special Instructions
This feature is to be used to alert the Customer Service Department of any special Instructions. Examples include: freight lift required, call before delivery, etc. It is only to be used for the Customer Service Departments reference.
To utilize this feature:
1. While creating or editing a code, enter any special instructions in the Special Instructions text box.
Any information entered into this field will be included with the order when submitted to the Customer Service Department.
C. Line Text Entry
This feature will allow you to enter text that will appear on the quote/order under the part number. This could be used for customer reference, such as their supplier part number. It could also be used for the Customer Service Departments reference, such as a color designation for a Storage Lid.
To utilize this feature:
1. While creating or editing a code, enter the product line item.
2. Under the Product, you can enter text into the text box.
When the PDF is exported or printed, the text will appear as shown below:
